Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
By accessing or using TradeView ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
1. Nature of the Service
TradeView is a trade journaling and analytics platform. It allows users to record, review, and analyse cryptocurrency trades for educational and personal record-keeping purposes.
TradeView is not a broker, exchange, financial advisor, or trading platform. The Service does not execute trades, hold funds, custody assets, or transmit orders to any exchange on your behalf.
2. Not Financial Advice
Nothing on TradeView — including analytics, metrics, charts, signals, patterns, or any other output — constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. All information is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
3. Provided "As Is"
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that any data, analytics, or calculations will be accurate or complete.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TradeView and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Financial losses incurred from trading decisions informed by the Service
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Inaccurate analytics, calculations, or price data
- Service downtime or interruptions
- Errors in trade synchronisation from third-party exchanges
You accept full responsibility for any and all losses incurred through your use of the Service. TradeView is a journaling tool — it does not influence, control, or execute your trades.
5. Read-Only Access
When connecting exchange accounts, TradeView requests only read-only API keys, wallet addresses, or readonly tokens. The Service cannot and does not place orders, withdraw funds, or modify your exchange accounts in any way.
You are responsible for ensuring that any API keys you provide are genuinely read-only. TradeView will reject keys that have write, trade, or withdrawal permissions where detectable, but this check is provided as a courtesy and is not guaranteed.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service
- Interfere with other users' access to the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time.
8. Third-Party Services
TradeView integrates with third-party exchanges and data providers (including but not limited to Hyperliquid, Lighter, Paradex, dYdX, GMX, Reya, Extended, Nado, Pacifica and GRVT). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Service.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
